Terms and Conditions of Participation in “LIFE” Event  

Introductory provision 

Registration for the event organised by PostFinance AG (hereinafter “PostFinance”) is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By registering for the event, the Participant accepts these Terms and Conditions of Participation.  

Registration procedure for the “LIFE” event 

The registration period runs from 12 September 2024, 00:00 to 26 September 2024, 12:00. During this period, Participants have the opportunity to register for the event, which requires them to fill out and submit the form displayed.  

Participation 

Each Participant may enter the competition once only. Multiple entries are excluded. Participation is free of charge. For any questions, please contact via email at contact@lifeevent.ch

Eligibility 

All natural persons aged 18 and over who are permanent residents of Switzerland are eligible to take part. 

Prizes 

The following prizes will be awarded: 

50x admission to the “LIFE” event including a guest. The guest must be named on the registration form. 

The prize may not be redeemed for cash and is non-transferable. 

Selection of the winners 

Winners will be selected after verification of the registrations received and on a first-come, first-served basis. The draw will take place in camera. Winners will be notified by PostFinance via the email address no-reply@lifeevent.ch within the registration period. All winners have the right to waive the prize. In this case, the person must cancel their registration via the link provided in the confirmation e-mail. 

Changes to the rules of participation and termination of the competition 

These Terms and Conditions of Participation may be amended by PostFinance at any time. PostFinance reserves the right to cancel or terminate the opportunity to register and the event itself at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons. In the event of suspected fraud or abuse, violation of these Terms and Conditions of Participation or any other similar behaviour, PostFinance may exclude individuals from the competition without giving reasons. In the event of the exclusion of a Participant or the cancellation of the competition, there is no entitlement to any payment or compensation.  

Data privacy 

Registering for the event requires Participants to provide personal data. Participants confirm that the personal details they provide, in particular first name, last name and email address, are true and correct.  

All Participants’ personal data will be stored and used exclusively for the purpose of administering and fulfilling the registration for the event. After the event has been successfully completed, all participant data will be deleted. Participants are free to revoke their participation in the event at any time. In this case, the person must cancel their registration via the link provided in the confirmation e-mail. 

PostFinance confirms that no personal data will be disclosed to third parties or made otherwise available to them for use without the Participant’s consent. An explicit exception to this is the company commissioned with organising the event, which collects, temporarily stores and processes the data for the purpose of carrying out the registration and the event.  

Legal Protection of Personality 

The Participant agrees that PostFinance may publish any photos taken of them or of their guest at the event without restriction in time and location. 

Liability and final provisions  

PostFinance excludes all liability in connection with the competition to the extent permitted by law. No correspondence shall be entered into regarding the competition. There is no right to information for Participants. The judges’ decision is final. The competition is subject to Swiss law. The sole place of jurisdiction shall be Bern.
